These terms and conditions apply to all bookings, purchases, and services at Tattoo Studio 96 ApS (Aarhus & Aalborg) – whether made online via tattoo96.dk, e-mail, Instagram, Facebook, by phone, or in person at the studio.

2. Payment options

We accept Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Mastercard, and MobilePay payments in the studio. For online bookings, the reservation fee is paid by payment card or MobilePay (see section 4).

3. Booking, rescheduling & cancellations

• Rescheduling / cancellation: No later than 72 hours before the agreed appointment time – free of charge.

• Cancellations later than 72 hours before: The reservation fee is forfeited and will be charged.

• Rescheduling can be done via the confirmation e-mail, SMS, or by contacting the relevant location directly within the studio’s opening hours.

4. Reservation fee

• Most tattoo appointments require a reservation fee at the time of booking.

• The reservation fee is deducted from the total price on the day of your tattoo.

• The reservation fee is non-refundable, but can be converted into a gift card if you cancel no later than 72 hours before the appointment.

• In case of late cancellation or no-show, the reservation fee is forfeited.

• The gift card is personal, non-transferable, and cannot be refunded or exchanged, including for online purchases.

• The gift card is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and can be used for a new booking at Tattoo Studio 96.

The reservation fee covers preparation time, reserved working time, and administrative costs.

5. Prices & offers

• All prices are starting prices and depend on the motif, size, placement, and chosen tattoo artist.

• Campaigns and offers (e.g., Small tattoos) apply only during the stated period and cannot be combined with other discounts.

• Multi-tattoo offers (e.g., 1 for DKK 500, 2 for DKK 900, 3 for DKK 1,200) apply only to one person per visit and cannot be shared between multiple people.

6. Gift cards

• Can be purchased both in the studio and online.

• Gift cards cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash.

• Online gift cards are considered internal studio credit (not a general store gift card) and are therefore not subject to the right of withdrawal, pursuant to the Danish Consumer Contracts Act, section 18(2).

• Validity: 12 months from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated.

• Any remaining balance stays on the gift card for later use.

7. Age limit & ID

• Tattooing is performed only for persons over 18 years of age.

• Valid identification must be presented upon request.

8. Health, skin & safety

• Please inform us before your tattoo if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a skin condition, take blood-thinning medication, or have allergies.

• We follow the authorities’ hygiene guidelines and use sterile single-use needles and approved inks and equipment.

9. Design approval & copyright

• The customer is responsible for ensuring that submitted images and designs may be used.

• Drawings and designs created by tattoo artists at Tattoo Studio 96 are protected by copyright and may not be used without a written agreement.

10. Photography & sharing

• We occasionally take photos/videos of our work for our portfolio and social media.

• If you do not wish to be photographed, simply let us know before the session starts.

11. Right of withdrawal for services

• Tattooing is a customized service, and once the work has been carried out, there is no right of withdrawal.

• For online purchases of gift cards, the terms in section 6 apply.

• Cancellations are handled in accordance with section 3.

12. Complaints & touch-up

• Contact us as soon as possible if you experience any issues during healing.

• Minor touch-ups may, in certain cases, be offered free of charge – this is agreed directly with the studio and/or the tattoo artist and normally applies within 3 months after the session.

• Does not apply to tattoos on feet or areas with a particularly high risk of wear.

13. Holidays & closures

In case of planned holidays or closing days, we will inform you via Google Business, Facebook, and Instagram.
Existing bookings are only affected if you receive direct notice.

14. Receipt & communication

You will automatically receive a receipt and booking information by e-mail/SMS upon:

• Confirmed appointment

• Change / rescheduling / cancellation

Online reservation

When purchasing digital products from Tattoo96 – including digital artworks, designs, graphic files, or other products delivered electronically – you accept that the transfer of rights takes place immediately after payment.

Digital products and tattoo reservations are not covered by the right of withdrawal. When you complete the purchase, you also give your consent for the reservation to take effect immediately, and you thereby waive your right to withdraw from the purchase.

As the reservation grants an exclusive right and constitutes a transfer of rights, and not physical goods, the right to make a complaint is also forfeited. The right to make a complaint applies only in cases of legal defects – e.g., if you do not receive the agreed right. In such cases, Tattoo96 will of course ensure that you receive the correct right transferred.
